If you need maximum control in traffic, at the vet or in challenging situations, this 1.2 m lead from the Extreme Edition is your reliable companion. It has been specially developed for dog owners who do not want to compromise on safety and comfort over short distances.

The heart of the Leash is the innovative frog carabiner made of hard aluminium - particularly light but extremely resilient. The carabiner only opens when both sides are activated simultaneously and closes automatically when hooked in. No jamming, no accidental opening - it remains absolutely reliable even when pulled hard.
The breaking load is up to 600 kg, depending on the selected width.

The integrated wrist strap is lined with soft neoprene and fits comfortably in the hand. It protects your palm from pressure and ensures optimum grip - even in the rain or cold. The fixed leash length of 1.2 m is ideal for situations where you want your dog to stay close to you, e.g. in traffic or during dog training.

Made from tear-resistant nylon and equipped with black anodised stainless steel parts, the Leash is not only robust and durable, but also water-repellent and easy to clean. Scratches on the surface do not affect its function or safety.

For people who want to maintain full control with every movement. For dogs that pull hard or react quickly. And for situations where safety is paramount.

Application

This leash with handle is suitable for medium to large dogs that need a lot of strength. The carabiner has a double safety lock that only opens the carabiner when both snaps are used. A leash is suitable for short distances or distances where the dog has to be closely guided (leash-walked), such as in the city center, when visiting the vet, on public transport, etc.

Product care

Our Vitomalia collars, dog leashes and harnesses are made of nylon material with a neoprene inner lining. We recommend that you take Vitomalia collars, dog leashes and harnesses off at home after use. This way, the products will stay beautiful for a long time and will not be unnecessarily worn out at home.

For light soiling, we recommend washing the products for 2 minutes under lukewarm water, rubbing lightly against the soiling. You don't need any detergent, just lukewarm water and your hands.
If the Vitomalia collars, dog leashes and harnesses are very dirty, they can be washed in the washing machine in the washing bag provided on a 30°C hand wash program. Please do not use detergent for dog items (collars, dog leashes and harnesses, but also dog bed covers)! Washing soda or a little vinegar is completely sufficient. Detergent is too strongly perfumed for our dogs and is very unpleasant. Vinegar and washing soda remove bacteria and keep the color fresh for a long time.
Because of the metal details, we recommend that you also put other laundry (e.g. the dog blankets) in the wash as a kind of buffer so that your washing machine is not damaged by the metal details.

Safety carabiner made of hard aluminum

The Extreme Edition dog leash has special safety snap hooks. The snap hook can only be opened if both snap hooks are operated at the same time. This provides double safety. The snap hook is made of hard aluminum, which is a very robust yet lightweight metal.

Inner lining

The raised inner lining makes the difference in our Vitomalia products. Only thanks to the raised inner lining are dogs and humans offered the best possible protection. The inner lining is made of neoprene, which is a hygienic and robust material. This makes the leash very stable on the one hand and particularly light on the other. In the hand, the neoprene inner lining provides additional protection and comfort.

Two available widths

The 2 cm wide dog leash is intended for people who have a medium-sized dog. The carabiner is 3.5 cm wide and 4.5 cm long. The 3 cm wide dog leash is intended for people who have a strong medium to large dog and place particular value on extra safety. The carabiner is 4.5 cm wide and 6 cm long.

Leash

A leash is suitable for short distances with the dog or in situations where a small radius between the dog and the person is necessary. The advantages of a leash are that it is easy to hold and has little annoying material. A leash is ideal for particularly sensitive dogs that react sensitively to the clinking of metal or are confused by a dragging leash.
